Interfaces
dsGST uses a small set of common screens to take input and deliver output. Learn them once and every new screen you open will feel familiar.
Data Entry Screen
Most master-data forms in dsGST use this layout — for example Account Groups, Account Master, Manufacturers, Items, Users and To-Do Entry. A list on one side shows what exists, a locked form on the other shows the selected entry, and a row of buttons changes it.
Transaction Screen
The Transaction Screen is used where one document has many lines — sales, purchases and the like. Each document has one header (party, series, number, date) and any number of item rows below it.
Report Screen
Every report in dsGST — ledgers, outstanding, summaries, lists — uses the same screen. Choose the filters, press Generate, then read, drill into or print the result.
Print Dialog
The Print Dialog (Report Printing) opens when you press Print on any Report Screen. It decides where the report goes and how it looks on paper.
Left-Right Marker
The Left-Right (LR) Marker gives one field the same value on many records at once. Use it to move a hundred items to a new manufacturer, or to put a group of parties in the right city, in one sitting.

Many dsGST screens carry a small ? link in the top-right corner of the window. Click it and the help page for that screen opens in your web browser.
